I'm trying to help my Dad out with his 2002 Silverado. The check valve in the tank is toast.
I know it uses the same fuel filter as my '97. Problem is I don't really know anything about fuel lines....
I assume it's 3/8" line which I read is -6 AN.
Is a '97 (or '02) fuel line fitting at the fuel filter -6 AN?
I was thinking of buying something like this and plugging it in by the filter:

And before anyone says it...no I'm not going to put a new fuel pump in it...
