What does this wire connector go to?

Found a 4 pin connector unplugged between the distributor and the transmission dipstick. Please help me identify. Thanks.

That is for 4x4. It sends power to the t-case. GM used a "basic" harness with superfluous connectors on these trucks.

I have the same unused plug on my '95 C2500, whereas both my '88 and '89 K1500s have the extension harness traveling above the tranny, to the NV241 on each truck.
