So …. may have to try this ....... since my compressor stays engaged all the time now, at idle …… the switch might be stuck in the closed position.... causing the compressor to engage continuously . This might cause the higher than usual low-side pressure I'm seeing.

Definitely not my area of expertise, but I think being low on freon can also cause the low side to be higher pressure?

I had a similar issue with my ac in my k1500. Ac control unit shorted out and would turn ac on or off when it felt like it. Picked 3 up from pull n pay, only 1 was good.
