So when I bought my GMC grill, i got the entire headlights harness for $10, so I thought, "boy that will make is easy" little did I know it would have a different harness plug. Looks like on my truck they done a round plug and a flat plug instead of one big plug like the new one.

It was very much easier to put/leave the stock harness in place and wire the pigtails up for the 9005 and 9006 bulbs. Still have to wire up the side marker lights but I will get to that when I have to take the grill apart again to replace the bumper brackets.

I'm tuned in to see the finished product Sir ...

It's in my build thread Randall. I just made this one to inform the next guy to leave this stock harness in place :D

I searched for the answer and didn't find it to I made a thread.
