transmission cooler lines

hey guys, got a 94 sierra, with 5.0L. my trans oil cooler lines are both rotted out. i have been told that i can use brake lines as a replacement. can i used the factory fitting with stainless steel brake line tubing to make this work?

sweet. now just gotta figure out the diameter and length.

does anyone know the diameter for the cooler lines. im just gonna make em out of brake line

thanks rhino, found out my local parts store keeps 5/16th cooler line in stock with fittings. i just hope the 5 foot length they have is long enough and they are the right fittings.
