Tire size suggestions

My apologies in advance if I posted in the wrong section wasn't sure exactly where to post my question.
I'm shopping for bigger tires for my stock height 2wd 97 Suburban which currently has 255/70/15. My current selection is 275/60/15, thoughts?

If you mean taller tires (more diameter), those aren't taller (they are actually shorter), just wider.

Try a 265/75R15 (similar to 31x10.5x15, which would also work). Will give you an extra 1.5" in diameter, the flotation size would be an inch taller.
