alright so im in need of your guys opinions, i have a 96 z71 i just installed some 16x8 pro comps with 285/75/16 goodyear mtrs. it looks great i had to trim the valence and i cranked the t-bars about 1-2 inches for the front im happy with how it sits now, im just unhappy with the rear being a little lower. Im not interested in a body lift i only want to get the rear up level maybe 1-3" max. Now i tow alot so i was thinking of getting 2500 leaf springs or an AAL. Which would you prefer to reduce the sag and get the correct amount of lift to level the truck? Thanks

AAL = 1" of lift about

Blocks = 2" common sizing

2500 leafs = 2.5 to 3.5" of lift

I got close to 3" out of my aal. And I don't think it helped the sag when towing that much. So now I'm wanting to get some 3/4 ton springs. That's what I would recommend.

If I was to go 2500 leafs that would put it raked from the 3" in the rear and only 2"in front, how would I get the front level with the rear I honestly don't feel that comfortable with cranking the t bars much more?

2500 Leafs are the exact same as as 1500 leafs. There was a thread on it. You just need to get 5/1 combo(5 leafs 1 Overload). Its the same part # for a 1500 and a 2500 and 3500. Or you can get the HD 7/1's

Thanks for saving me the trouble...

I'd recommend a block if you like how the truck rides now. I put a 2.5" in my 2500LD and was very happy with how it sat with a small crank on 285s.

I'll be doing the 5/1 or 6/1's Just cause blocks are illegal here.
