My first gmt400 was an awesome green 95 z71. I drove it all over Northern California when I lived down there.

First thing I had to do when I got it home was the intake manifold gasket.

Ended up being a real good truck for me for a couple years. I ended up selling it to get a bigger car for the family. I wish I had kept it, because I ended up getting a call from the Highway Patrol that it was found in a ditch somewhere. Sad end to a pretty cool truck.

Thanks, it was kinda sad to get that phone call. It was one of those times where it is lucky you do the report of sale.

After I got all moved and settled in Washington, my latest 88 Chevy yard truck came into my life. If weighs 1600 pounds less than the old z71, at around 4000 instead of 5600, and has less moving parts which is good for me right now.
