Ok. I've been researching this Jet Accu-speed thing and it's just to in depth and more work than I, an unexperienced teenager, wants to mess with. Is this something a shop can do? I will already have it at the shop to install the gears, tires and muffler.
Don't let the "unexperienced teenager" thing get in the way we all gotta learn at some point. I'm 17 and just finished swapping engines and transmissions in my 94. Did it by myself except a few buddies that helped me drop it in.(motor mounts were being a pita)
Don't over worry it. If yer off a bit, the speedo diff will be minimal and can be compensated for in yer driving habits. ie; Drive slower.

Or you can just download a speedometer app like I did haha... I wasnt sure how "off" the speedo was when I bought the truck so I dled the app... tires only thru me off a couple of MPH's
Yeah, I know 31's throw me off 5mph, but today my dad and I started talking about getting some stuff done to the truck and he told me some older vehicles had a cable driven speedometer and that I could replace the gear to correct for tire size. I was wondering if '95 C1500 Silverado wouuld have a cable driven speedometer.
