Went to this years annual Alaska 4x4 Meet and Greet. Had a blast, and in between spotting on the obstacle course and wrenching on others rigs in the pit area, we worked on mine.

A good friend brought his service truck to help out, and we welded up the middle legs on the shock hoops and the lower shock tabs on the axle.

Ran the shock tabs parallel with the axle to minimize binding when flexed out.

Still didn't have a front driveline, but didn't stop me from testing out the finished product.

We then went on a recovery mission for a VW Bus that had been abandoned 20 some odd miles into the trail by the Knik Glacier YEARS ago.

Decided to test the waters and run the trails in 2wd as well. Truck did amazing, and never had a problem or complaint out of it.

Until I started spewing power steering fluid. I think it was just over full and with all the bouncing and jerking of the wheel on the trail it burped out the excess.
