I have a 1988 C2500 standard cab. It has 186000 miles on the odometer. It has developed a shake in the steering wheel at about 65 and is pulling to the right.
I took it in and had the alignment checked. The tire shop mechanic told me the camber was 1.1 on the left wheel and -1.2 on the right wheel. He claimed in order to set the camber he would have to install an eccentric bolt kit on each side. I have only had the truck for a couple of years and it is hard for me to believe that in 25 years no one has ever adjusted the camber. Am I being fed a line of bull ? He showed me where the bolts go and there are no bolts there.
