I need to replace my 305 with a 350. Both trucks are 1995. Mine is a 4 wheel drive with the 5 speed and the loaner truck is a 2 wheel drive with an automatic. Would there be any problems since one is an automatic and 2 wheel drive and the other is a 5 speed and 4 wheel drive? I’m only replacing the engines.

There shouldn't be a problem, you'll need a PROM for the 350 with 4WD for your ECM

Keep the 350 injectors and knock sensor with the 350.

As said, you'll need proper ECM tuning.

You're taking the engine out of a "LOANER" vehicle???

Where does a person go to find a prom for my application? Here’s what is in my truck with the 305 and 5 speed.
