Nice clean work Kenny. Has anyone done this in an older OBS with a bench seat? I've got an '89 2WD that I'm making into a "muscle truck" and I'd like to install a ratcheting floor shifter. I'm just not sure it can be done with a bench seat and still have a comfortable reach.

Thanks. I have installed a floor shifter in an old truck, and a few old cars before. Mostly moving a column shifter to the floor on a manual trans. The issue you will run into is, to get the shifter far back enough so your hand won't hit the dash, you will loose some of the seat adjustment. You wont be able to pull the seat up as far. It will hit the shifter.

If this is seriously all i need its definitely doable in a weekend. Also i will be building custom console. Then bend the rod to fit it how i need to in console.
