Removing drivers door panel 88 2500hd

Can’t seem to lift the door panel. I have removed the 2 screws that hold the “strap” that I use to close the door. Also pulled the white plastic inserts. Popped out the panel where the latch and pwr window switches are attached. When I try to lift the door panel up and out it does not move. Everything is loose. It seems to bind at the top where the weather strip attaches to the panel with what looksike small screws. Here is a photo. Thanks in advance for help. I am trying to coat inside everything that could rust.

On mine, a 91.....just gotta get a bit "nasty" with it. Be a little bit more forceful, it's unnerving the first time, but it should go.
I would unhook the switches though and take them right off, don't wanna mess up the wiring.
