Except Everytime I go there, they try and sell me a new truck. And when that fails, they try to sell me part that cost almost as much as one.

LOL......the odds are with that special alleged "quick disconnect" on the end of the hose it probably WILL cost as much as a new truck........

And, the odds are if it's leaking at the quick disconnect it will either break the hose end or the break the fitting that goes into the manifold when you attempt to disconnect the quick disconnect.......

If it's not leaking around the fitting, it is just a heater hose, splice it with a metal tube of some sort would be my option.

I think Dorman made the both the hose end and manifold fitting at one time. Haven't seen them in the auto parts stores for a while though.
