Porportioning valve tools

Here are two porportioning valve tools you can easily make, the first is from a tape measure belt clip, the second is made from a body clip and a throttle body screw. To purchase these tools cost a total of over $75.00. I recommend these tools over the screw in types promoted by google because the screw in type opens the system, allowing dirt accumulated on the threads to fall into the proportioning valve, potentially causing the porportioning valve rod to stick.

Neither of those "works" on the proportioning valve.

Best I can tell, those are for the Metering (Holdoff) valve.

Proportioning valve affects ONLY the rear brakes. Metering valve affects ONLY the front brakes.

There's a pressure-differential safety switch in between, and the whole works is considered the "Combination valve".
