Hello guy from Allen, mi. I,have a question on performance chip and cam. I have a 95 k2500 with a 350&4l80e trans. I'm getting ready to do the ultimate tbi mods and exhaust ,would like to do a cam swap and put in a chip. It's not a race truck or anything just trying to get more power out of it. It will be used as a dd and hauler (duel axle dump trailer and car hauler). I was looking a Jet performance chips but not sure which one to get, cam is the same way. Definitely want some thing with more low to mid range power. I don't think it's a roller cam motor the guy I bought it off from said they changed it. Not sure of year or what it came out of either. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guy.

I'd stay away from a mail order tune. It's better to data log, tune, rinse and repeat until you have it dialed in. With a real time emulator you can more easily accomplish this rather than modifying your PCM to accept a flash chip like the SST 27SF512. Check out this site for options.

You can get help tuning from some guys over on gearhead-EFI.com - lots of great info there too.
