Np241c tailshaft question

First let me start by saying I just replaced the rear seal on the tail shaft of the transfer case (np241c) in my truck. On the tail shaft there is a notch on the outside does this line up with the drain slot in the tail shaft? Because I hop i put the tail shaft on in the right direction or else I gotta do all that **** again lol.

So does someone know if the tail shaft on the rear of the np241c transfer case is supposed to be oriented a certain direction?

If I remember correctly, the tailshaft bolts wont line up if its not oriented correctly. So if all the bolts are tightened down it should be on right lol. I know from spending a good couple minutes spinning the thing around trying to find the right way to bolt it up.
