Just put in a new starter on my 93 k1500 and still getting no crank not sure what the issue is I’ve also tried jumpstarting it. All wiring seems to be connected properly could it be something in the ignition key switch?

I heard the starter whining the last time it ran so I figured it took a ****. I just noticed the ignition which is a little harder to turn than usual will pull it apart tomorrow to check it out
What made you think it was the starter to begin with?

Tighten up bolts on battery terminals first-that's the problem I had with no crank. I'm not saying that will solve it,but start with it first. Jump starting didn't work when this happened to me.
