I love my OBS seats. I don't know why everyone wants to switch...

I put seats from a mid 2000's trail blazer into my K5 blazer. The new seats wont tilt forward so I used seat risers from a 95 jeep wrangler and it lifts the entire seat forward. I have tons of room to reach the back when the seat is lifted plus I only had to drill new holes into the riser for the floor and seat. I took the seat belt button thing and attached that to the seat where the original one went so I could use the stock seat belt. Its not a gmt 400 but it sounds like it would be the same.

my only beef with them, or mine at least, is how much slop is in the tracks.... maybe mine are just worn out and i should try and find a different set of tracks

I've not sat in the GMT-900 ones, only the 800. The OBS seats are probably some of the lost comfortable truck seats I've tried.
