Another vote for the Yokohama Geolander G015. I'm on my 3rd set with different vehicles. Best overall A/T I've found for quiet on the highway and great in the snow/ice/rain. Everytime I've strayed, I've been disappointed. Cooper has a new one with RWL that might fit the bill.

I can't stand listening to mud tires howl and they are doo doo in the snow/ice we get.

The Falken Wildpeak AT3W (now AT4W, haven't heard much on the replacement) is probably the closest to a 2nd place behind the Yoko. I'm a big fan of the Falken Wildpeak H/Ts also, I've ran probably 5-6 sets of those on everything from 2500HD pickups to crossover SUVs.
