Looks like the pintle cap from the idle air control valve.

The tip on the iac is still on it just put new one in unless it goes In between the Iac ant the TV

Well then I have no idea. Maybe someone else will recognize it

I just put my 454 TBI back together minutes ago. That is the tip to the IAC.

So there is two in it or one on the end of the spring and that's it. Cause the tip was on the end of the old iac when I pulled it out

just one. Sounds like it had been replaced in the past and was just floating around in there waiting to be discovered or injested by the engine.
