What's up guys, I'm new to the site and figured I'd share the start of a short and simple build. Any insight or ideas are greatly appreciated...anyhow, here we go.
Picked up this 97 for a cool $1000 and drove it home (about 400 miles). Has 99xxx miles on it and it's a 2wd 4.3 vortec...nothing fancy, nothing fast but it'll do fine for what I wanna do with it
My plans are to strip all the "bed liner" paint off and go back with a nice basic gloss black. I already picked up a set of 20"s with some 275/55/r20s. I have some 2" drop shackles but I'm not sure if the wheels will clear....but we'll see.
