New Gears

Just had new gears put into my '95. I went to 4.56's with 33's coming from the stock 3.73......night and day difference BIG TIME!!!! Doing 65mph in OD, I'm turning about 2300rpm VS 1800rpm in OD with the 3.73 which sucked pretty bad. This is going to be nice, epicailly towing.

No I did not. I had them done

How much did that run ya if you dont mind me asking?

It' cost 1,800 for both front and rear, labor and all

Yea, the same carriers but the rear has the factory gov lock in it (limited slip)

I'm wanting to do this aswell but was wondering if the 4.56 would be to much for the 33's rpm wise and also was thinking about keeping the G80... but I'm also worried about it being a time bomb tick tick lol.

I have everything in my shopping basket at 4 wheel parts just trying to get the " it's OK feeling on spending this much money lol"

4.56's are where its at, good choice

Nah, it's been great with 4.56's and 33's. I'm about 2300 RPM at 65
MPH.
