I was thinking about rebuilding my motor this year, but I dont even know where to start. I have about 1300.00 to do it. Some people tell me to just get a ls1 motor, some tell me to rebuild mine. I would like some more horse than stock, so I can feel it but it is still my dd. I am also having my tranny rebuilt as well if I do this. Everyone is telling me to do something different. I was wanting to do a cam, headers, and cold air intake. Is that enough or is there more I should do. Because unfortunately I work in a body shop and don't know enough about motors. I would just like more hp but not to where it will be crazy. Any opinions would be great.
