NBS shift lever/ gear selector on 97 steering column?

Does anybody know if it will fit? I'd like to be able to use the newer gear selector that has a button on the end of it I could use to enable tow haul mode on my LS swapped truck.

There used to be a thread where it had need done but there was some modifications needed. But that thread I believe is long gone now I believe

Great white installed one on his, but he had to modify it extensively.... by cutting, welding, bending and grinding in order to make it fit.

I put one in my truck. Just ground down the back side so it would slide in. Bolt lined up and screwed in, no problems, looks great.
