So what's up yall? I'm pretty bored on this Sunday night since I can't sleep, so I thought I'd make a Then to Now thread. Well, let's get on with it.

All started out in the fall of 97. My parents were looking for a new SUV to replace the ol' 91 6.2 burban they had. So, they drove up to Grand Forks, ND to Rydell Chevrolet and bought a 98 Chevy Tahoe LS, 4x4, white with red cloth interior. I remember asking them when I was little why they picked red (I never liked it) and ma simply replied: "its something different". Well, before it even left the lot, it went to the dealerships detailing shop where it got the 90's style body treatment in the form of a big ass bug guard, plastic grill inserts, fiberglass running boards, and one of the most gaudy looking pinstipe schemes I've ever laid eyes on. Well time went by and mom drove it as her winter vehicle and our families tow vehicle since it had a better turning radius than a pickup. By the time I had bought it from them two years ago, it had 94,*** miles on it and many replacement parts in the form of two water pumps, alternator, fuel pump, intake manifold gaskets, intake water nipple, and finally, a GM Goodwrench longblock 350 (original motor spun a bearing after only 93,5xx short miles). So, being the truck was 11 years old at the time, my parents sold it to me and they bought a new 09 Tahoe LT. Since I bought it it has been through a lot of changes: updated injection spider and injectors, another fuel pump, Rough country 800 shocks, 2.5 inch add-a-leaf springs, 16" NBS Silverado alloy rims on bigger 265/75R16, 1.5 inch torsion bar crank, removed bug guard, removed running boards, removed plastic Lund grill insert, removed pinstriping (PITA), OEM style clear corners, TYC Headlights, TYC Parklights, IPCW LED tail lights, NBS Z71 C pillar badges, chrome molding on the bumpers to replace the black molding (never liked the black molding on a chrome bumper), NBS center console, Escalade cluster, Pioneer headunit, pulled out the stock slave cd player and put in a cd delete pocket, homelink, 2 12" Rockford Fostgate subs with a power akoustic amp, cut off factory muffler for two 18" glass packs, 5000k HIDS, 4 Hi mod, and front licence plate bracket removed. Well, on to the pics, in chronological order.
