Earlier trucks came factory with braided line, my 89 had them.

mine had hardlines from the tank to the firewall then braided up the firewall and into the TB

Big update. Got the heads on! I'm super stoked. I would post pics, but my home internet isn't working. Definitely need to give the engine bay an epic cleaning after this, the black heads make the rest of the bay look like crap!

Also, got a bit of a bet going with my buddy. He assembled the driver side. I assembled the passenger side. If something goes catastrophically wrong at some point, whoever assembled the part has to pay the other guy $20. just thought we'd make things more suspenseful.

Getting closer. Picked up a new thermostat and housing today, as well as new exhaust manifold gaskets, aaaaaaand......... Wait for it.....an IROC 5.7 fuel pump

Give me about two days, guys, she'll be alive and tearing up the streets soon!
