Got it back from the shop around 1pm. And the verdict is...nothing definitive but some things are ruled out.
There is no electrical problem found.
Compression is.

Ignition system is working normally.
They said there are steady misfires on 4 and 7 causing random misfires on the other cylinders from possibly being to lean but not positive as it is pulling up to -21 percent fuel.
If i wanted to leave it with them they could tell me more in about a week. I can't do that or leave well enough alone.
So brought it home and let it cool down a little bit then i dug in.
I really could not find anything obvious wrong except 2 things.
3 push rods were stuck in the lifters somehow and i have no idea how. Had to use pliers to pull them out. Both on #7 and 1 on #4. They are not bent and appear to be fine.
I did not think to first take the intake off to see why they were stuck unfortunately.
The lifters once removed all appeared fine but i noticed about half were pumped up and the other half i could easily push the plunger down almost bottoming out.
So i don't know what to think about all that.
None of the pushrods had oil in them. Like when you first pull them out usually there is a little running out. These had none.
It did kinda look like the spring retainers had oil on them and the rockers had some oil. I could not see any damage to the pushrods.
Few pics cuz we like pics!
