Multiple ShiftLock relearns

I have a 1996 Chevy K3500 7.4l and automatic trans. After performing a successful shiftlock relearn using the 10run position 1min in the off position 3times, my ShiftLock Relearn seemed to be successful but after 3days, it needed it again. What are the next steps to diagnose the issues here?

Your '96 shouldn't even have PassLock, that didn't start until '98 as far as I know.

Your '96 shouldn't even have PassLock, that didn't start until '98 as far as I know.

That's definitely not a PassLock issue. No security light on the dash, and the truck would still crank if that was the problem.

The fact that your gear indicator goes away when you turn the blower on is really weird.

I have to do the passlock relearn to make the truck work again though.

I replaced the blower motor and problem solved. Seems weird
