Illegal as crap in Georgia and they will nail you for it; at least around Atlanta. I swear I got more tint tickets than anywhere else on the damn planet in Atlanta. But they have fairly strict tint laws, last I knew it was maximum 35% on side AND back glass! At least in TX you can do 35% on front door windows, all the other side and rear windows you could paint them black for all TX cares.

Ah yes, Texas. Where literally nothing is illegal enough to get you pulled over.
Swanga-style GMT400 for added blegh.

On a serious note though, I agree with everyone else in this thread. 20% would probably be a perfect match. I did 35% on my 'burb's front windows and honestly it could be just a little bit darker. I'll probably get it redone one of these days.

Nope. Lived there for 6 years, and in the first year I changed my plates over to GA for the one car I brought with me. Everything else after that was GA plated as well.Hmm. I don't want to jinx myself by saying much. Did you have TX plates?
I noticed the police cars have really dark tinted. Double standard. I think it's a stupid law. I think it implies we're all guilty of something. I've heard police say if someone has dark tint they're hiding some illegal activity. So is that why police cars have it?
I get pissy about bs laws.
I've had an officer speak to one of our school committees here in Alabama and I asked him about the tint law. He gave an example of "imagine if someone robs a bank, and they have a car like yours. We can't see in the vehicle so you could automatically be a suspect." You could smell the horse sh*t coming out of his mouth. Yeah suspect was seen in a white pickup truck, let's make sure it's not the guy on 37's with six inch tips first. Bottom line is I don't even think they know why they have them. You're right no ones guilty until it's proven.Hmm. I don't want to jinx myself by saying much. Did you have TX plates?
