Yes, there is a huge car-truck culture in south Louisiana, around the Lafayette area. Some of this is also is in your area,( the Alexandria, area.) There is a huge show next month 17th and 18th, at casino in Marksville. Crusin southern style. I saw a post from Ryan, the painter for kounts, customs do a promo for this show. I know he was there last year. Go to our FB page, (Acadiana gear heads), and click on the events page. Also Lafayette Louisiana car crews news, and Lafayette cars and coffee. There are 2 groups, that do a cars and coffee. 2ed group is league of exceptional motoring. I am usually at a show in my local area, almost every weekend, but since I bought my 1979 Corvette, I have been there as much. I have been busy working on my Vette. I do still manage to make some of our local shows, though. I am the guy in the black hat, next to my Vette. You can PM me, for more info. There is a show at Hub city Ford, Saturday from 8 till 2 maybe, but I won't be there. I have things to do, but all are welcome to the Ford show. Always a good turnout, and not all Fords. Should be well over 100 vehicles there, if your up to a drive to Lafayette. The info is on Acadiana gear heads FB page, and Hub city Ford, is on I-49 south. This is a trunk-R-treat show. Very kid friendly. It is free to enter. The $30 is to enter your ride.
