Hi all, I just bought my wife a 2003 Chevy, which the owner sold to me because he had ran out of gas 3 times after the instrument cluster stopped working. From what I have read, the most common cause of this problem is a bad/open ground. I believe this could be corrected by soldering an additional ground connection point, but I dont have the location. Has anyone repaired this, and if so, where is the bad ground located?
