Less than 8 miles on new crate motor, smokes white and has slight tick at idle.

I just know with my GM crate engine that a certified shop had to install the engine so the warrenty would not be voided.

You can install your own GM crate motor its just that the warranty date starts on the day of purchase instead of the day its installed.....

Basically they would treat it as an over the counter sale and the warranty would start on the day of purchase.
