Laynlo's 1998 OBS, just the beginning

Hello OBS friends, I'm brand new to the forum, but not to the OBS world. I've had a previous 1995 GMC that I did a 6.0 swap back in about 2008, 1999 Suburban that we lowered and set of wheels. It was a 350 cubic inch small block. I just purchased this 98 a couple weeks back, new paint, full Ride Tech Suspension, all other suspension parts have been replaced, frame is notched, new bumpers, grill, lights, etc. Currently putting the interior back together after a thorough cleaning. Currently searching for Lt1 or L86/87 or maybe L82/83 with a A8 or A10. We will swap that this winter since there will be plenty of time with the cold crappy weather we have here in Mid Missouri. I've built couple dozen rides and have been drag racing for 55 years. Just sold my 2023 Camaro that ran 9.80@143, it went to Florida. Attached a few other pics of my recent rides since 2016, the red car is 2016 Camaro with Magnuson 2650 SC, it ran 9.41@147, my C7 with a bolt on only ride, it ran 10.90@128, the 2023 Camaro I just sold had a Magnuson 2300, TooHighPsi port injection, engine, trans, exhaust were all stock and we ran that on E65. I'll keep you up on my progress on the OBS.

Just a few more pics of other builds I've done. My 08 G8GT that I did a 2300 Maggie on, built this 82 Malibu wagon in 2014, second Ls swap with 09 2500 6.2 with rectangular port heads, cam, high ram, etc. My 93 Caprice on Ride Tech air ride, built this blazer for my daughter and then my 95 GMC 6.0 swap. Then my 68 Nova I built back in the early 80s, it ran 9.70@136, high hp, high rpm small block with glide/trans brake, 2700 lbs with driver. I have more but will post those another time.

That is just a few that I've owned or built. I'm, its been a life long love of cars since I was just a little kid. I've owned about 84 cars and trucks. Lots of them have been new, but dozens lots and lots have been builds. I went thru some years of drag racing outboard boats but when that was over after 4 or 5 years I was back at again. It's never ending according to my wife, is she right? Yes she is.
