I am going to replace the cycling switch, not because it was short cycling but rather because I didn't see or hear the compressor cycle off a single time yesterday.
I removed the blower and cleaned the evaporator coil two years ago but it won't hurt to take it apart and clean it again. Adding the aluminum tape sounds like a good idea as well.
Do you recommend bypassing the heater core? Thanks.
