Just bought a 97 2dr Tahoe!!

I like it so far...of course it's my "beater" truck. Lots of miles but in good shape.

Here is the question...it is the work truck front end. I have a big brush guard on it, but I can't decide whether to upgrade it to the non work truck or not.

I am fixing a couple little things here and there, trying to keep it all on the cheap (which is somewhat esy considering the cost of parts)

True...and I have thought about that. I pretty much bought the truck and then took it on about a 350 mile road trip (wise, no; exciting, yes)
The headlights SUCKED at night. When i finally got it home, I corrected some battery cable corrosion and they are actually usable now.

The money for the front end may be better served on something else, like a flipping cd player!!!
