Is this normal?

When I have my hazards on and I brake the hazards stop flashing and just go solid. Is this normal? I have done the 4-hi tail light mod & I'm wondering if this is the cause of it.

Both my 400s did the same thing. I assumed it was normal.

My truck does the same thing so I'm guessing it's normal.

Alright, I'm happy with that. As long as nothing is broken, there's nothing to fix.

Brake lights are far more important than flashers. In a system where the brake lights are the same lights as the flashers (like a GMT400) brakes will take priority by design.
