I have a 99 2dr Tahoe with a 9.25 front differential swapped from a 1999 suburban 2500. ( I know I know 1500 to 2500 swap can’t be done) but mine is. When I drive the truck I have it set on 2hi and it drives as if I am in 4L. Goes straight fine but have problems turning. I had the front differential out to change the seals on it and don’t know if I put the shift forks back in correctly. In the video I have the passenger side front tire in the air a little and am spinning it back and forth. Tell me if I am wrong If I was stuck in 4hi or 4lo I would not be able to turn the front passenger tire because the driver side tire was on the ground still? Is this clunking noise an issue?
I also tried disconnecting Brand New P/S axle from the Differential and put a cut down cv axle in the wheel bearing to keep it all together and the truck Drives beautiful

Sounds like both transfer case AND front axle problems. The front axle can't change the gear ratio in the transfer case.

Axle is engaged in 4wd. Apparently you didn't put it together properly. You're turning the passenger-side tire, and the driveshaft is turning--shouldn't happen if the axle actuator is DIS-engaged. Wheel should spin freely without turning the driveshaft.

Pretty-much confirms that your front axle is engaged all the time.

No idea why the truck drives like the transfer case is in low-range.
