Will it be a positive improvement? Probably not.
A higher stall converter allows the engine to rev higher before the level of slip is overcome. Higher engine torque and vehicle weight, rear gears affect relative stall speed. Higher stall speeds heat the fluid faster.
Unless you plan to start changing components in the engine that will alter the power band, it wouldn’t be my first move. I’ve heard of People being happy with a higher stall on a stock setup, but I can’t imagine I would be.
