What is timbrens?
They are basically a squishy bumpstop that stop too much drop, but still allow some suspension

What is timbrens?
91s had a 4l60?Timbrens work great, 2500 bars would also work.
The real main weak link in a 1500, especially in a plow truck, is the 4L60.

Welders can weld, and fitters can fit, but the porta-can-man knows his ****.

Buying parts here and there is much cheaper than buying a different truck. Living in Illinois, a rust free truck can be quite a bit more, and either way, it's cheaper to drop a little here and there for parts instead of another truck and having 2 trucks to be fixing all the timeI know you don't want a 2500, but......wouldn't that be alot easier, cheaper, less headache. And you wouldn't destroy your 1500 doing 2500 stuff. Plows are hard on heavier trucks with std tranny's.
So what does my 94 have?4L60, not a 4L60E ( the 4L60 is a naming change from THM700R4, in 1990 )
I think it's beyond that at this point. Keys are all the way and it still sinks. All it would do it make it sit higher before it sinks. At this point I think stronger bars are the only route. However I would like lift keys for the extra little lift once I swap bars.Buy a set of lift keys (that are indexed for more lift with less inital adjustment of the adjustment bolt) and then back off the keys when the plow is off of the truck.
Cue applause
...unless of course you've already done that, in which case just ignore everything I said
