I have 98 v6 5 speed. When I am leaving work the past couple of days, I get in start truck and it is idling around 300 rpm.. I rev it up to about 2000 for 5-10 seconds and it goes back down to 300 rpm. I put it in gear and truck drives fine. Shift from 1st to second, and as im shifting the rpms drop all the way down to 300 again, when i let clutch out in 2nd the rpms go back up as they should. It does this for about 2-3 min. After I have driven 2-3 min i hit the next stop light and the truck is idling perfect at about 750 rpm. And then it is fine for the rest of the drive home.. any thoughts?
