How many Silverados with manual trannys?...

I've always wondered if there was a way to find out how many GMT400's were equiped with manual tranny's and the Silverado trim package. I'd think that they were on the "rare" side, since automatics were part of the Silverado Trim package. Anyone have any insight?

I have the Silverado package, an NV 3500 five speed manual , AND the 262 V6. I thought it was optioned really odd , for a Silverado.

I am building one that is a single cab short bed 3/4 ton. I have never seen one around here. Manual trannys of any sort are rare in these parts, much less in a silverado.

Here's rare, compared to most -

1994 GMC C1500 SLE so it's just GMC's version of a Silverado. Uplevel grille/composite lights, deluxe interior with pw/pdl/tilt/cruise power driver's seat, etc. Factory-equipped NV4500 heavy duty 5 speed (RPO MT8) and tow hooks (RPO V76)

I have a 94 k1500 Z71 5.7(350) NV3500 5spd with the Silverado package.

Oh, and I forgot this one. It's another GMC C1500 SLE, 1991 model with all regular Silvy style options, pw/pdl/tilt/cruise cloth interior etc. was a 5.7/Getrag(?) light duty 5 speed (RPO MG5). Just a parts truck but it ran and drove fine. Kinda gutless with 3.08 gears though! Anyway, it's long since parted out and gone to the crusher as barely a shell. (no title, suspect they had a title loan out on it, demolished interior, and major electrical problems). It gave up a good engine, transmission, 1991 needle/tach cluster(!), and quite a few other goodies before death.

I have one with a NV3500 & a 305, pw/pdl/tilt/cruise cloth interior 3.73 gears 4wd. The 5spd is one of the reasons I got this truck.

Currently own a 98 K3500 Silverado 454/NV4500.
Past truck was a 99 K2500 Silverado 6.5L/NV4500.
Also installed one in my 88 that came from a 94 K2500 Silverado 454/NV4500.

Two friends of mine have 5-speed trucks as well...
96 K3500 Sierra 454/NV4500
And a 95 K2500 Silverado 350/NV3500

even rarer would be a short cab short bed in a 2500 series! Not sure that, that's ever been built!!

Anyhow, im jealous of all you's that have manual in your Silverado's!!! I only wish my dually had one! Trying to find one around here is like trying to dig for gold in your backyard!
