With HID's, you want the HD harness to handle them. Maake the investment now and save money later.

I have both high and low hids with the factory wires. I haven't heard of burnt harnesses on 88-98 trucks.

90% of the problems with hid are due to low voltage at the ballasts. That harness will ensure they get proper an full voltage all the time along with taking the load off your stock wiring....
