I already cut a piece out but now that I leveled and lowered the bed to get the bed straight, the bed is sitting even lower. So I have to cut up higher. I'm going to get nother bed and cut the sides off it and I am thinking of cutting a really smooth crescent shaped hole
right where the wheel and tire come thru and leave like that. If I end up not liking that I'm going to make a slight dish shaped panel and weld it over the hole and smooth it. Here's what the first hole looks like.

My last truck had the bump out idea already done. It's really hard to see in the pictures, but this is the best picture I have.

Imo I would just get the rear narrowed a little. Prob be cheaper than a new bed even. Around here it doesn't cost all that much to do. Or swap in a impalla rear. I think they are 2" per side narrower. I think a guy at work just got his narrowed in his drag car for $200.

Truck looks bitchin lots of good work.
04silvy impala rear ftw!
Mine will be bodied eventually and we planned a head as much as possible in doing so we flared the bed out when we raised the floor just a lil
Bit. Most people will never notice

I like the way the wheels flush, almost with the bed. So if I do this my way I'll keep the flush look and not have the wheels look like they don't fit the truck flush.

Well I got off a little early today and got a little sensor work done. Front drivers side got the location worked out. I used the experence of jmig to put in a great location. Jmig I was able to put mine in a location you could not because you have the shock and I don't. I am putting mine were your shock bracket is.

This way my wheel doesn't come close at all. The only thing is I have old re7's up front right now but I wanted to go with re8's when I replace them but I will have to redo my sensors when I do. Damn.
