Header Question on Aftermarket motor

Well im putting a carbed chevy 383 stroker in my 1998 chevy c1500 extended cab. The motor has Dart SHP heads on it and am wondering if I should get headers for a 1998 truck or a truck like 1988-1995 to get headers without an EGR hole?

I am looking at these for the 1988-1995 option: HOK-2462-1HKR

Generally when I do headers I delete every emission related item possible, but my state is really lenient.

I don't have emissions testing in my state so that is no problem. I went with the headers for the 88-95 truck because they don't have the egr port
