Fuel line repair

Not paying attention, I twisted the return line from the throttle body on my 94 Silverado ext cab short bed. I can't find just that one steel line as it's been discontinued. I tried a repair kit, but I have been unable to make the bend myself without messing it up. Salvage yards all tell me they just cut them so that's out.

Anyone have an idea of what I can try outside of having to order a complete set?

Flare tool and bending tool should be able to rent them at most auto places

there are AN fitting conversions for TBI as well, it's not a high pressure fuel system so it doesn't have to absolutely be steel lines.

There is a fairly sharp bend going to the TBI and that's where I struggled. I already ordered the kit, but will keep the braided lines in mind for next time. Hopefully someone else that has this problem will see this and it will give them some ideas for a fix
