We have a 1999 Yukon that we’ve replaced the cluster on to try eliminating a vibrating needle on the fuel gauge. That did not fix it. I’ve read it could be a ground issue, a loose fitting connection to the back of the cluster and also the fuel sending unit on the fuel pump assembly. We’ve not tried anything more than replacing the cluster. Has anyone had success with eliminating this issue? I hate to trouble shoot this if I could get a direct answer to what is the normal cause of this. Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can give.
