I hope this is the right place to post this. I’ve noticed that the fuel gauge on my 98 K1500 just randomly stopped reading correctly, and it now does the hummingbird twitch. I’ve checked all the grounds on the tank from the sending unit, and I know that the float isn’t bent because I installed the sending unit myself. On a 05 2500hd I had it was having the same issue only worse that one just needed new stepper motors. I don’t know if that’s the same fix for the GMT400 or do I just need to buy a new cluster?
