Frame difference

Whats yhe difference between a 1500 and a 2500? And whats different between a 2500 and a 3500.... Just the frame strength... Mounting points ect no suspension nothing like that jist frames I was told 1500 Nd 2500 are the same but 2500 hd and 3500 are the same just less spring

Here's what I've seen. My 98 K1500 frame is 3/16" thick, ECLB dually 3500 was 1/4" thick, CCLB 2500 was 5/16" thick as is my CCLB dually. 8 lug frames also got reinforcement brackets at the front and rear leaf hanger brackets.
